WE BELIEVE:
1) The Bible is the inspired (God breathed) Word of God and the final authority in the affairs of man upon the earth
2) In the Godhead: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. They are separate entities, yet function as one
3) Man was created in the image of God; that sin entered through Adam, and Jesus Christ died to redeem mankind
4) The New Birth is necessary to all and with it comes the gift of eternal life to all who believe
5) In water baptism by immersion as being an outward sign of an inward experience. It is a point for us to use faith against the old sinful nature
6) The in-filling of the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation and its accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues. This experience empowers the believer to not only communicate with God, but to do the works of Jesus
7) Sanctification is definite; in that God has imputed His righteousness to man
8) Divine healing is part of the atoning work of redemption. All benefits are appropriated by faith
9) In the bodily resurrection of the dead and the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10) The lake of fire is a place of retribution reserved for Satan, his angels and all who die without Jesus
11) In partaking of the Lord's supper as Jesus commanded us. The Cup represents the blood shed for our forgiveness of sin; the Bread represents the body broken for our healing
12) In the laying on of hands to transmit power from one person to another for healing or for spiritual gifts.
13) God is sovereign in that He has the ability to do anything. However, He has qualified His ability throught self imposed limitaions. In the completed work of redemption, God has made provision for all that pertains to life and godliness and such provision or blessings must be appropriated by faith through the authority of the believer. Therefore, man is created as a free moral agent and responsible for his destiny and the standard of life he chooses.
